Svyatoslav Loginov is a Russian writer living in St. Petersburg. Known primarily as a prolific writer of short stories, Loginov published his first full-length novel, The Polyhand God of Dalain, in 1995. The fantasy novel was noted for its originality and style, and was quite successful with readers and critics alike, winning four science fiction awards. Since then, Loginov has penned over a dozen other novels and novellas, including Light in the Window, a 2002 novel about the afterlife which also won several literary awards. The short form remains his primary passion, with a number of short stories bearing his name now counting in the hundreds. Loginov is married and has two children.
