Yuzhi Yang is a Chinese-English translator and content creator experienced in fiction, international business, news, and advertising. Her published translations include a non-fiction book on China’s high-speed rail industry (China Speed, 2016), a suspense novel (The Child’s Past Life, 2014) and two children books (Tadpoles on the Rock and The Bridge at Dusk, 2006). She has also translated an essay anthology featuring celebrated authors such as Mo Yan, Jia Pingwa, and Yu Hua (Hometowns and Childhood, 2009) and a movie script (Letters from Death Row). Yuzhi is a recipient of the New York State Council on the Arts Translation Grant in 2009 for book translation and a winner of the Queens Council on the Arts’ QUILL Translation Award in 2011 for novella translation.
